2022 Enchanted Readathon - Week Three

Hello again, my fellow book nerds! We're halfway through this year's Enchanted Readathon!

Let's see... how many prompts have I completed...

4/16...

Hey, at least I'm making progress! I might even get a fifth prompt done later tonight!

It's been a stressful week this week. Even more so than the past two weeks have been. I've been dealing with some family stuff which has made me even more mentally drained than usual. But I am happy that I got through some books this week. I finished three books, though one of them wasn't for this readathon.

I also think I'm finally getting into a new and better routine that'll help me get to some more reading! I truly hope so, I would at least like to get through 12 prompts of my own readathon.

So what did I read?

I finished All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott for the Cupid’s Arrow prompt.

This prompt asked that you read a romances. And let me just say, this took me through all the feels! I loved Five Feet Apart which is by the same authors, and this was just as good! If not, better. I also read this in a single day, I couldn't put it down!

I then finished The Deep by Rivers Solomon for the Into the Deep prompt

This one asked that you read a book set in, by or at sea. This wasn't my original book pick, but it's been on my list for a long while! I'm so glad I finally read. But if I'm honest, I'm still trying to wrap my head around what the heck I just read. This was such a unique take on mermaids.

So what am I reading next?

Again, I'm still currently reading The Whispering Dead by Darcy Coates for the Mandrake prompt, which asks that you read a book with plants on the cover. This is one I'm hoping to finish tonight.

I'm also still getting through Hearts of Briarwall by Krista Jensen for the Sands of Time prompt, this one is to read a book set in a different decade.

I never did start Silver Flame by Karpov Kinrade, which is going towards the Blood Sucker prompt, which askes that you read a book involving vampires. That will be my next book to start.

That's it for today! Let's see how many I prompts I can get through this next week!
